Auglaize County Educational Academy’s (ACE’s) motto is Education Built Around You. Our deepest desire is to build educational success around, with, and for our students. We believe that we are able to do this in ways unique to our area.
- Public Community School:
- We are a local, public, online charter school that serves students in grades 6- age 21.
- As an accredited school, ACE Academy issues diplomas and transcripts just like any other public school.
- ACE Academy has an on-site tutoring center in Wapakoneta at the Auglaize County Educational Service Center. That means students have access to face-to-face tutoring and instruction from licensed teachers. We also have a mentoring program to ensure that each student who is enrolled has access to supports and resources that they may need.
- ACE has the Ohio Department of Education’s designation of “Drop Out Recovery and Prevention,” unlike the alternative schools in our area. This means that students who have dropped out of school or who are at-risk for dropping out may enroll at ACE Academy through their 21st birthday.
- If you know a student who is planning to attend another community/charter school, may have a health issue and need a different placement for a short time, does not want to return to in-person learning, or is planning on dropping out of school, we can enroll them.
- Personalized, Blended and Online Options:
- We are able to personalize students’ education to their needs while ensuring that they meet all state graduation requirements through an online medium. All while remaining enrolled in your local school district.
- We employ a variety of educational programs, learning experiences, instructional approaches, and academic support strategies that address learning needs, interests, learning style, goals, and backgrounds of students.
- School-Within-A-School Model: SWS
- This approach establishes a smaller educational unit within the home school to provide services based on student need. This is created, built, supported, and modified on district need.
- Through this model, ACE Academy can offer all of our online courses to schools districts, as desired, for many reasons: schedule conflicts, health concerns, summer school, credit recovery, and additional course offerings.
