German and Spanish teacher – ACE Academy. I hold a B.A. in Computational Linguistics – The Ohio State University (2009) Teaching Licensure in German and Spanish – The Ohio State University (2011) and a Masters in Foreign Language Education and teaching Modern Foreign Languages. – The Ohio State University (2011). Also I am a Current Doctoral Research Fellow in Natural Language Processing – Computer Sciences and Mathematics Institute, University of Sao Paulo teacher and work as a software developer for Vocalize Speech Processing Solutions Inc. My thesis is titled Iprompter: An Intelligent E-Tutor for Oral Corrective Feedback. This project utilizes speech processing technologies to create an online pronunciation tutor for Spanish speaking college students in Brazil, learning Portuguese as a second language. I was born in the in Miami, Florida, finished high school in Germany and speak German, Badisch, English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently as well as Russian, Swedish and a handful of other smaller languages. I am a Rotarian and enjoy fulfilling the motto of Service above self. I am also a past president and founder of the Ohio State Rotaract club. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors : hiking, swimming, biking, or just enjoying the fresh air with my wife, Marina and German Shepard, Thor. I am an avid sports fan and support the Karlsruher Sport Club as well as my beloved Columbus massive pride, the Columbus Crew.
